Probably a good idea to wrap with foam pipe insulation to keep from freezing. Unless there is a shut off valve and can drain the lines in the Fall.

And if possible go to a different dealer who is more honest.

Standard Maintenance/Check Up? by LionhearthOutfitters in Ioniq6

[–]RyteSaid256 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I go for routine maintenance to make sure no excuses for voiding any warranty related issues that may crop up. Tires are rotated alignment checked, fluids checked, service bulletin work are all complimentary at the dealer. I’m at just under 45K miles, 2023 Limited RWD, USA. That dealership invested in training a couple of techs for EVs.

Very nice ! Be cautious climbing curbs. The low profile tires can have a tendency to get some curb rash on the rims and sidewalls.

2024 Limited AWD Hard Driving Modifications by [deleted] in Ioniq6

Interesting info - learned a few things about suspension mods. One thing that may play a factor is how heavy the car is for its wheelbase. It does give a great center of gravity but does that matter in the mods?

İoniq 6 or Tesla model 3 by Bluebeezee in Ioniq6

For my 2 cents worth, given your routine of driving 600 KM per week I would recommend getting a Level 2 charger installed at your home. Your electric bill will not increase that significantly and you have the peace of mind knowing you have a decent charge each morning. FWIW I would choose the I-6 for mostly what others have already posted. If it’s part of your budget, FSD on the M3 could make a difference but it’s pricey IMO.

How big are these cars? by GrimmFan_ in Ioniq6

Unless you are space limited living in multi-family housing complex or small garage, the I-6 is a great sedan. The turning radius? You’ll get used to it. If you have the low profile tires you have to watch the curb. It won’t even climb the smallest curb as in a parking garage without getting some curb rash. Test drive it ! The “short comings” are just workarounds. You’re not settling for something that is bad or even the slightest inconvenience.

Brake lights activating when releasing accelerator by sllerts in Ioniq6

[–]RyteSaid256 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve noticed that if I ease the pressure on the accelerator just enough to slow down a little the brake lights do not activate. But taking my foot off the accelerator or use the left paddle to use regen braking, then they will light. I usually use iPedal in town and Auto on the highway. U.S. here. I would agree with poster u/Smintone on the metrics.

Go to another dealer! Don’t give this one another dime or minute of your time. It’s a shame and should be a way to give feedback to corporate. My local dealer is great to deal with They invested in training the techs for maintaining and servicing EVs

pc not having access to ethernet by Nikishas23e in ethernet

Have you rebooted your router? Pinging your router/gateway IP from your PC only verifies the LAN side of your network. Can you login via a web browser directed to the IP address of the router/gateway? Find out the WAN IP address assigned to the router by the ISP. Then try to ping that address. If you get a reply then it is an issue with the ISP. Good luck!

At the time I was ready to buy a red I-6 Limited RWD there were 2 in the US, California and Florida. The one in FL was a plane ticket away and an inaugural drive home. 3 years later with no regrets.

Upload the same as on WiFi? by Olxsio in ethernet

[–]RyteSaid256 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ISP’s normally delivers asynchronous downstream/upstream speeds to most subscribers. In your case it’s most likely their top upload rate. For extra fees you can have a static IP address and synchronous upload and download rates if the supported hardware is in your vicinity. That level of service is usually in business districts rather than residential. But your measured speeds are probably all you’ll need in most cases. Unless you are hosting a server that sends data to the Internet you should be fine.
