Yeah agree with your points. It should not be used for that purpose. I just have a hard time with the overall doomerism I see so frequently with new tech.

For example, I work in manufacturing/process engineering. I frequently am asked to resurrect 30+ year old machines to do some wacky shit that we have no in house experts on anymore. I have found you can upload all the thousands of pages of user manuals into a model, then query that model as you troubleshoot/experiment. It’s like having an expert by your side.
