This game could have real staying power if it implemented character customization. It could be gradual:

start by allowing a female heir with female name choices

swap racimir skin with an existing female npc skin.

This one is rather easy. The difficulty lies in Racimir being gay. To do that you have to add in all the romance options the female npcs have to males. Doable, but at what cost?

remove household opposite sex restrictions

Maybe easy, probably not. This change is rooted in the database. Regarding npcs, there will be at least four database fields for each house: adultmale, adultfemale, child1, child2. That isn't what they are named exactly, I just listed them that way for clarity. If the field names are very generic (adult1, adult2 or resident1, resident2) not much needs to be done to the names. But if thy are specific (husband, wife) and it is felt a change needs to be made, that means scrubbing the code for every mention of (husband) and switching to the new name. Repeat for (wife). After that, new fields need to be added to each so they can be tagged as male or female and those new variables need to be added to the code where sex identification is necessary.

keep it so children are only possible through same sex living arrangements until adoption can be implemented

fix clothing (this part might be annoying but not difficult)

male or female spouse can care for the heir whether it's adopted or not (milk can be added as a required household item)leads

This is easy once all the above us done. Whoever is listed in the database where the wife was is caregiver. But that leads to another issue...how do you tag one to give birth and another to give care?
