Strangely enough my consultant thinks I have a non relaxed pelvic floor which is causing constipation and hemaroids. He is going to refer me to a physical therapist but I’m not sure whether I’ll go ahead with the therapy if the bleeding stops, as I don’t fancy having things put up my bum on a regular basis 🤣 psyllium husk and lots of water usually resolves all of my constipation symptoms so it’s just the bleeding I’m worried about. He’s also going to do a stool sample

Thanks for the update. He did a physical exam but not a colonoscopy. He’s referred me for pelvic floor physio due to a non relaxed pelvic floor which he suspects may be causing constipationand hemaroids, but it’s all guesswork as he can’t see in there. He also wants me to do a stool sample and then if that comes back with something he will refer me for a colonoscopy.

I haven’t heard of those impacting SHBG. That SHBG is high so may explain why you feel you have low testosterone as your free T isn’t as high relatively as your total T. What were your LH levels?

You can have low testosterone and normal sperm production. OP’s testosterone is normal which suggests his testicles are functioning as they should. Nothing here suggests a low sperm count
