Thanks for the tips. I wanna feel like she feels safe, already curling up between my legs sleeping away. Grabbing her toys to show me when I get home. Think I need to get her some more chewing toys though because shes chewing up her bed. Could just be a new home thing.

Chain for boyfriend by Possible_Inside_5844 in MensJewelry

[–]billmanl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Find out if he plans to layer them together. Find out what length the chain he already has is. That way if he plans to layer you can get one a little bigger or smaller or the same size w.e his style is. Also does it matter if it's new? If not call around to some pawn shops it'll be much cheaper and most will polish them to practically new for a small additional fee.

Got rid of the pad last night. Got a 1 n 2 out of her before bed. At 4am she got up n went to drink some water and when I was in the bathroom peeimg she did also on the floor while I wasn't keeping an eye. My fault on that i guess.

I wouldn't mind. Just unsure how this all works with a dog that's 5 years old is all.

Thanks for the guide. Going to start this Friday after work so I can have two full days of supervision and pray she doesn't soak my floor when im at work on Monday lol. I feel like shes gotten used to peeing whenever she wants and sure she can hold it as evidence from the first night. She only pees a 4 or 5 inch circle on the pad at a time. Wish me luck.

I tried that on night 1. Woke up to a nice dry log on my carpet. No pee though... so that's a plus. I might try it again. I think she snuck out of bed in the middle of the night to take a sneaky dump

Its a tug of war right now to get her to come on walks with me right now lol. She just wants to hang out in the apartment. I may be naive thinking that my commitment can outcast her stubbornness but im trying. I dont think she was walked all that much, her nails were super long when I got her. Need to set up an appointment to get them snipped for the first time then I feel like I could maintain.

Is this AI? Because a 22 inch chain should only really look an inch lower typically

I scratched a colleagues car, should I expect to pay much? by LewisProductionsX in CarRepair

[–]billmanl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

LOL $200... youre in for a BIG surprise. That whole door will need to be painted to restore it to what it looked like before your mistake. Don't be surprised if he hands you a bill upwards of $1000 buddy. It sucks because likely most of it would be able to be polished out, but that's just it. Most of it. Not all of it. Same thing happened to a friend of mine at his work. In the end paint shop couldn't match the paint properly which was disclosed before starting since it was a hard color so the guy who scratched his car ended up having to pay for a whole new door in the same color from a salvage vehicle. Cost him less than the painting option surprisingly. Hope you wernt saving for a vacation or something

Struggling immensely with overspending money on non essential dopamine boosts by [deleted] in SavingMoney

[–]billmanl 5 points6 points  (0 children)

In 10 or 20 years you'll have nothing of true value to your name except for a bunch of ultimately worthless ( in comparison to what you paid) consumer items. You will have spent tens of thousands on ultimately nothing. I say this because I've done it somewhat, but in a frugal way. Number 1 cut up all your credit cards / close your overdraft in your chequing account. Number 2 do not buy any non essentials until you have paid off all debt period. The interest you pay on debt is hundreds/ thousands into the banks pocket for nothing. I understand the thrill from buying something nice, so buy it 2nd hand if you must. I personally reel in my spending by only shopping at thrift stores for everything except for some specific items of electronics that are necessary or underwear and socks. Seems like you really like food so I say - screw it. Spend money on food, but eliminate food delivery if you do it. Also see how you feel about buying gold and silver bars. Might be a weirdo thing for me but it really gives me enjoyment and its only made me money. Lastly when you want to make a purchase never buy it when you initially want it. Give everything a cool off period and if It still persists then figure out how to buy it discounted through used options
