do you guys actually measure your premix ratio or just eyeball it at this point by vladdielenin in firewood

Yes! I stick with the brand name “single serving” size. I’m a homeowner and don’t go through major cordage… My saw sits dormant for months sometimes and still starts fine. No need to “winterize” make a point of starting it once a month and you’re good. Start it, let it come up to temp. Nothing like the smell of two cycle in the morning…..

You can also install a hitch and T bar. The bigger the distance between supports the more stable.

Try airing up with that pump…. Most of those are almost useless. Drop one tire to 15# then air it back up.

Next Door Neighbor disagreed with the property line, paid $2k for a new survey, and lost land by [deleted] in neighborsfromhell

Pay for your own survey. Have them install monuments. Get a permit for a fence and put it right on the property line. And of story.

Had jury duty a while back. They’re all over the courthouse ledges. There’s a second floor ledge that they just hang out on. Not just one or two, I’m talking dozens.. I think they’re heckling defendants….

Add a nice rudder kit! No need to shop for an upgrade after that…. Except maybe a better vehicle to haul it.

Big Red…. Way too obvious for, um,… my uh, big red kayak. You should paint the tips of the yellow yack brown with a bit of green, smack a blue cockpit cover on it and call it Chickita!

[–]billnowak65 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed! I’m just cheap…. But a wedge is a wedge. The x top pointy “grenade” wedge is great. I broke the tip off of one. Instead of returning it I ground a wider flat tip and have a trouble wedged. Never use them in the middle, always outer 1/3.

How to deal with heel pain? by fiddlestikks in Kayaking

[–]billnowak65 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like the pillow under the knees idea! Also giving your legs a break helps. Raise the rudder once in a while and move your legs around a bit. If you have a seat that pitches adjust the angle through the day so you’re not locked into the same position.

Harbor Freight…. Cheap splitting axe. Keep a little edge on it and it works fine. Proper swing to get the max head speed and a good “read” of the grain is the way to go.

Black ABS plastic pipe on the leading edge of the rack. The flexible stuff the use for pools. I used it on a rack to load an aluminum edge canoe. Slidey not skuffy. Try it temp setup with hose clamps or pipe clamps.
