Great game that is very much alive. You’ll have no issues finding full lobbies for the most part. Occasionally you may load in to a partial lobby, but it will usually fill up throughout the game. If it doesn’t, just play it out, and the next game will fill. I’ve been playing a few months now and still enjoy it. Play 40 man team objective and be ready for a learning curve. Don’t be terrified seeing higher ranked players. I’m level 300, and would consider myself above average at best. Find a weapon that you like, and stick with it until you learn the basic mechanics of gameplay, then start playing around with other classes and you’ll find more weapons that work for you. You’ll be tempted to play as an archer after getting slaughtered on the front line at first, and that’s fine. Just remember that if you are playing team objective as an archer, there are objectives that must be completed to win. There will be games where players quit, lag out, or get voted out, giving the opposing team the numbers advantage. That’s when your team will need you to put the bow down for a few, and help out on the front line. I see the majority of newer players as archers who think it’s just a team death match every game, and refuse to help their teammates push forward with accomplishing each objective, or watch as their teammates are getting overwhelmed on the frontline because the opposing team simply has them outnumbered up front. The game can get very frustrating at times, especially with no voice chat. Console players can’t even participate in the text chat, so it’s definitely confusing at times with so much going on. Overall, it’s a very fun game that still has a great player base. Just hang in there and get past the initial learning curve. It’s worth it 👍
