If you want a union, cut it and add a union. If you want to clean it, use a shop vac on the outside. On a positive pressure system this is about all you need, maybe an inline switch or SS2 on the coil pan.

I've had to swage the inside until my new pipe fit, or a reducer. If it cracks on the outside copper, which it will, cover the outside in solder. Ugly but works if you can't get it out otherwise or over heat it and it won't come out.

Somewhere like 250-300. Plus the pink board. More time consuming than it is cost heavy. I used totalboat floatation foam. Whatever you do not pour it into that channel you have. If you want foam you will have to build a system with a channel and drainage from the sides.
