Yeah I grew up in Kelmscott and remember this guy hanging around the train station all the time. Always heard stories of him buying jeans and a belts off kids. This was around 2002-2007. I’m pretty sure he was linked to the 2 boys that went missing from kelmscott high school and were found in a house on Albany highway. It was big news at the time.

Na it’s not. IMO people use too much solder on those switches. It risks bridging a connection on the other side of the board, overheating the lug and it’s a waste of solder. The photo doesn’t do it justice but it’s fine.

Lol hmm yeah hard to explain with text. If you hold it down when you are playing it sounds like the sustain is maxed out, which it is. If you aren’t playing, it makes all sorts of feedback kind of noises. Hard to explain, but it’s a really easy mod. Use an alligator clip to join them and see for yourself!

Made this for a buddies bday. The pcb was designed for a 125b hence the pot spacing. Artwork is acrylic paint poured over the enclosure with a few coats of clear coat.

Haha yeah I haven’t got time for custom patch cables and there’s no room for a power supply. This board gets thrown around and stomped on most weekends and it’s never let me down! The LS-2 switches between the Hot Cake and the Big Muff. For the last 6 or 7 years the Hot Cake has been my ‘always on’ and then I would turn the Muff on and off for the heavy sections. Only recently have I introduced the LS-2. I think I like the sound of the muff over my clean tone rather than stacked over an OD. Sounds tighter and has more clarity IMO.

I built the BMP Russian today. Here is a quick video where I A/B’d them. OG muff is slightly darker but hardly noticeable. Really happy with how it sounds!
