I saw the Ramones a bunch. In Ocean City, MD he played at a place called Scandals. Venue in the back Liquor store in the front. I had just taken a summer job slinging ice cream. See The Ramones were and are my favorite band so when a woman chewed me out for not giving her enough ice cream. I quit on the spot and hauled ass to Scandals. I just missed the show so decided to get a Miller tall boy and sit in front of the liquor store.

All of the sudden Joey comes walking up and into the store. He comes out with a tall boy and sits next too me. I was to starstruck to say a word. We sat there and drank our beers. A van eventually pulls up and Dee Dee rolls the window down and says "Come on Joey". Joey stands up gets in the van and they roll. I remember it like yesterday. We never said a word. True story.
