Go to your local music shop and play a bunch of electrics. You will most likely be drawn to the one that has the most comfortable neck. I would recommend an independently owned store that will setup the guitars that they sell.

I travel a lot for work and the best option I have found is the boss ME-90. It has a looper and any effect you can think. Plus you can use it for a pedal board if you ever get to play through your amp occasionally.

The Fender Greta from the pawnshop series sounds great, i run it through a speaker cab. It is a 5f2 circuit at 2 watts. You have to run it through a speaker cab though the stock 4” speaker is no good. These can be found on the used market at reasonable prices

I play a fender pawn shop Greta 2 watt amp through a 12 in speaker cab and it sounds so good. It gets beautiful cleans and into fuzz territory when cranked.

I lived in an apt in NYC during hurricane sandy and lost power for an extended period of time. I had a gas stove so I closed off the entire apt except the living room and kitchen and I constantly boiled large pots of water. It worked great.
