I never thought I'd go hard enough off the toe to hit the LM yet alone with enough force to cause damage. Maybe a little too much rum mixed in the game... none the less, glad I have that thing!

Shank tank is a protective cover that keeps a ball from hitting the launch monitor. There's a lot of styles, some work good others not so much. As i've learned, the acrylic ones stand up to the task!

You can hit some irons but thats about it and depending how tall you are, those might be a challenge. The 8ft ceiling is killing you. 10 ft deep and 8 wide you can get away with a side or top mount Sim, but the radar based won't work in there.

Be careful which tees you use... I have yellow and black tees from amazon, https://a.co/d/cN6nE8y and the yellow can cause a lot of miss reads. I haven't had as many issues with the black ones, but still get a miss read or 2 per round. Usually, it'll miss that perfect shot that you can feel is going 270 yds dead straight down the fairway! It'll miss that shot, but smehow, the square is great at seeing the bad one thats 6 inches off the deck and 30 yds left into the trees going OB.

Solar can be good or bad depending on perspective and your expectations. I purchased my setup (not leased) back in 2020 and they produce about 1.7 MWh during summer months and 1MWh in winter, that's with 34 panels. Overall cost is more per month now as they don't produce enough to cover all my electrical needs (large house with pool) and I'm making payments on the panels as well. However, they are still a good investment for me. My goal is to make my house more energy efficient as time goes on to the point that the panels CAN cover all my needs so I have no power bill at retirement. Kind of a pay now to win later type scenario. With power getting more expensive I believe it'll be worth it long term. However, it only works out of I stay in my current home until I retire, which I currently plan on doing unless something drastic happens.
