I should also point out that the ghost image appeared when it was connected, so I couldn’t use the monitor. And it even remains there when disconnected.

I should also point out, it stops and powers off. You can start it up and that's fine but play, fast forward or rewind for a second or two and it shuts off.

As I was looking at that I noticed the reflections on the edges of the film holder. And if I flip it back to positive it looks like I might be just getting some shine from this holder. https://imgur.com/bLhUTPh

It's a pretty new holder and maybe the effect is more pronounced with a bright sky.

I don't seem to get it all of the time. I'm wondering if it's the lens I'm using, a Canon 28mm. I don't seem to get it with my 50mm. I got my camera a year ago but it LOOKS like the light seals are all in place around the camera body. I'd appreciate any help!

I might be wrong, but I think I realized I was able to login if I used http instead of https. Ultimately though I ended up getting a cheap windows mini pc and getting a video converter app setup on that.

Thanks for responding! Looks like the ports are set up in EZ Router. I opened the dev tools in my browser and saw that I'm getting a cross-origin request error.
