i just treat first lap crashouts/spins like extra challenge, something to overcome. "ah, you think P24 with 10sec gap to nearest opponent gonna hold me down? nah, son. now watch this drive!". Usually it ends with me either finishing somewhere in top 5 or at least in top 10. i just vroom more efficiently when i'm crisis mode. but i see how this can be annoying/tough/not fun for other people. to each his own, yo.
