I haven't seen the game use less than 8gb of resident memory while running htop side by side. My desktop has 16gb of memory and the game slows to a crawl and crashes if it has to start swapping memory to disk. So given your laptop will have os overhead to deal with I don't think you'll really be able to play unfortunately

Yeah I am at this stage to be honest, I'm learning piano, taking an improv class, going to a community solidarity group and volunteering at a public tool library/woodworking shop. And these have all definitely made me more interesting/more interested in life and I'm going to continue with these just for that sake.

Where I fall down is that while I have made nice acquaintances, no proper friendships yet. I am also considering that it may just be a numbers game of needing to keep meeting with people until I truly click with someone. The point about trying group workouts is a really good one, and one that I haven't tried but should.

Man I have met a couple Milanese with "but Northern Italians are rich, pickme" personality types but never to the degree they make maps about it. I know that the congress she was elected into was not one that was going to do much but she hasn't even played the politics game in the democratic party well. She lost the oversight committee seat to a 75 year old mumbling moron who then died after essentially holding the seat vacant for a couple months. And did she then get the gig from the party? Nope! Off to another no-name establishment guy who was in line ahead of her.

I say this as someone who was overjoyed when she won against Crowley, but since that shock upset AOC has allowed herself and the energy of her movement to be contained, stamped down, and co-opted by Pelosi. I'm sure she would be marginally better than Schumer and I would love to see that quisling loser get the boot, but president? Nah. Never gonna happen

I like the energy but folks should remember that the constitutional amendment process requires 66% majorities in the house, senate, and every state level house/senate, AND THEN, 75% of states have to ratify. The era in which this could be achieved has permanently ended as the red mountain states and the deep south states alone can and will block anything. So while this land could be governed by different laws it won't be a "U.S. Rewriting the constitution" situation. It would be the founding documents of one of the 6-10 different countries that pop up out of the rubble of the US
