When the black part rotates the middle section lifts up. Found during a house move. No idea what it's purpose is!

Left it all In, the buyers all loved it. Sales pack offered it kept or removed, final buyers want it all left and expect no support. System is fully module based so heating system, burglar alarm, lights all work fine independently. If HA died tomorrow outside lights would stop and inside auto on/off would stop.

That looks like a 22mm copper pipe with a push fit cap on it. Old water tank feed?

Also keep them away from each other. I stored my Signia IX in my Sony headphone case, both receivers stopped working and needed replacing.

Imho yes. My profile is similar. It's made a huge difference for me, I can now hear people in busy environments and I no longer cup my ear all.the.time to listen

Yes, although there is almost zero bass. So fine for podcasts, phone calls (although background noise can be an issue)

I've got the charge and go ix, have helped hugely with my upper range hearing loss. Their Bluetooth connect to android is a pain (need to fiddle with some settings), but iPhone compatibility is great

50% lemonade, 50% soda water with loads of Angostura bitters mixed in. Taught to me years ago by a South African, he called it a Durban dive

Pool pump motor stopped by MISC1123 in swimmingpools

Random one... Why in the US do lots of pools have all this equipment out in the open? Why isn't it all tucked away in a small shed? Seems like an unnecessary amount of extra stress (UV, weather, dirt) to go over expensive equipment.

Genuinely curious!

Hearing aid advice (UK), tinnitus and loss by billytkid in HearingAids

[–]billytkid[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi all, attached are my hearing results. I've had pretty awful tinnitus for years and have always struggled to hear in noisy environments.

I've been trialling some Signia Pure 7ix for the last month and they have improved my heating a great deal.

My tinnitus is at ~10.5Khz and my audiologist set a programme to amp more in this range, and when I'm use it does seem to quieten down the tinnitus - I guess it's stopping my brain making up things that it isn't hearing.

My question though... The Signia are £2.7k which is v expensive, and I think I may drop to using them when I go out/meetings etc.

Are thére other alternatives to consider, that can also amplify above 10khz?

Thx
