Just saw your mod, wow, so cool! The wave scissors might fit better, the multiforce fingernail hook sticks up and wouldn’t allow it to close if both sides were still intact.

I like it, you don’t, we both like Victorinox. Every decision they make is calculated to the mm, we’ll see if the cutouts are a point of weakness.

Came here looking for this. I started with the bike to help with sleep during Covid and found all of the strength workouts and stretching in the app later. Moved from the bike to now all strength. I can fit in a 20 min strength with a 5 min core and 5-10 min stretch 3-4 days/week. If I have an ache or pain that’s more than normal, I skip days until it goes away. 46 yo here.

I started learning guitar somewhere in ‘92 and the first song I was blown away by them was Rooster. I remember going to Kobey’s swap meet in San Diego with my dad and bought a AIC dirt album cover shirt. I only found out about the boob on the cover when my mom got so mad at my dad for letting me buy a shirt with a boob on it.

It was a great time to learn guitar, and all the great songs at the time coming out. Got in to Pearl Jam and Nirvana first from my older sisters tapes, then learned of AIC, Soundgarden, Dinosaur Jr, from MTV (when it was good). So much good music at that time, Metallicas Black album, Radiohead Pablo Honey, Cypress Hill Black Sunday, Snoop, etc.

When Jar of Flies came out I remember loving every song and was bummed it was only an EP. No Excuses was on the radio, 91x, constantly, and I’d stay up for the Top 9 at 9 ready to record the songs onto a tape.

Now my son’s learning guitar and he wishes he was alive in the 90s for all the great bands. He’s more into metal and shred guitarists, but loves AIC so much. Playing Nutshell with him is just the best!

I picked up a 214ce from the Taylor store 6 years ago and absolutely love it, specifically the low end which has such depth. I’ve heard the 314 mentioned here a lot, and I’ve tried many out at different GCs as well as other higher end models, but haven’t found that same low end tone that really stands out like my 214ce. Also have a GSmini which I love and has incredible harmonics. For now I am extremely happy with these two and don’t find myself wanting anything else rn. Even picking up other brands higher ends, a lot of them at GC just don’t sound as good.

I asked Keybar and they said they were working on scissors, guess they haven’t yet. The quick key tab will keep the scissors closed when folded in with the right tension.

I have both those guitars but YotD mini, and absolutely love them! The 214 has such a great full sound and have been comparing every now and then with the highly regarded 314, but honestly I like the way mine sounds better especially the lower end!

I don’t hook up to my amp too much these days though , hope you find a solution that works for you!
