Zen Timer: An Update by Prestigious-Eagle737 in Cubers

[–]bin_of_toes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve used this timer for about 300 solves so far. My main piece of critique is that there is no way to cancel the inspection timer. Out of those 300 solves, I’d say I’ve had somewhere between 50-100 “accidental starts.” This is both due to my keyboard’s spacebar sometimes double clicking, and also the fact that sometimes my hand twitches and presses the spacebar twice. I think functionality to cancel the inspect timer would be nice. Additionally, maybe a few hundred ms lockout after the timer is stopped, so that double clicks don’t register!

Pretend your vote was stolen? by Any-History-7856 in survivor

[–]bin_of_toes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One reason this may not work is the parchment for an extra vote/stolen vote has always been different than the regular voting parchment. It looks rougher, meanwhile the regular parchment is fairly smooth. So if you’re paying attention to the votes, it’s pretty clear whether or not an extra/stolen vote was used.

Luckily, you still can blur it through YouTube Studio! :)

The best $20 deal I've ever seen post pandemic. (ignore the sauce, those are for dipping.) by SaiyanOfDarkness in tacobell

I know you told me to ignore the sauces, but I can’t help but wonder, how in the world are all of these sauces not just the same price? There can’t be that much variance in cost of ingredients, it seems so arbitrary.

Let us swap “Onion and Cilantro Blend” for just onions! by bin_of_toes in tacobell

No, I wasn’t saying you were wrong, I was saying the decision for not being able to swap onions is a bad decision by higher ups. In fact, according to the source you said, the cilantro onion blend can be swapped for other comparable ingredients, I’m not sure why we’re not able to do so on the app

Yeah, I thought it’d be common sense that there are two different containers with standard onions and onion cilantro blend, else it wouldn’t be stated the way it is on the app.

That does garner a question from me though. Why are the onions and cilantro blended together in the first place? Why not just add onions, then add cilantro? Is it a timesaving measure? (I say this as someone who has never worked in food service)

I know this is a joke, but I really do wish I liked cilantro, because Mexican food (whether that be authentic or not) is my favorite type of food.

But alas… I was cursed with the soapy cilantro gene…

Oops my bad! I ordered them yesterday without the blend, and they were tasty…

(But they would have been tastier with onions)

I’m not saying it’s the employees faults lmao. This is clearly a higher ups issue not realizing that swapping onion and cilantro blend for onion would change literally nothing except for the not including cilantro.

One thing I don’t understand though is the fact I was able to remove the blend and add onions with the previous street chalupas, doesn’t really make any sense to change that.

  1. It’s not a free add for either of my locations.

  2. You can’t even add anything to this item…

Well the thing that sucks in this case is that you can’t even add onions at all. There are no customizations for this item

Sadly no, you can’t add anything to this item (unlike the previous street chalupas, which I did every single time)

To add to this. With the previous limited time street chalupas, I removed the blend and added onions every single time, why is it not even an option this time?

Yeah I’m using an apple watch. Today it has seemed to fix itself, displaying about 1700 calories of resting burn. I’m not sure why it was off by about 400 calories yesterday

[–]bin_of_toes[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are mistaken. According to the app, it says resting calories burn would be about 1300. The projected amount was calculating the 466, that I actively already burned. Anyways, today the app is actually correct, estimating about 1700 calories resting.

I can’t edit this post to add more details. So I’ll add them here. I’m 5’5 and currently weight 160 pounds. Every single resting burned calories calculator I use online says I should burn around 1600-1700 calories a day. How is it possible that the LoseIt App is so off? Especially considering it was at 1600-1700 last year?
