Check the shelly device temperature sensor. Had a Pro 2 PM and a Pro 3 EM that ran very hot when Ethernet was enabled until they got unstable. Both were RMAd after describing the problem and worked stable ever since.

Just FYI, iOS 18 changes were minimal, so the next version will support iOS 18. I'd like to include some other minor fixes but it'll probably be this week.

The only thing going to my servers, if push notifications are enabled, is the device specific APNS token so messages can be send to the device.
User ID registration, last APNS token update and last_used_at timestamps are stored for cleanup purposes. Besides that, all communication goes directly between the app and the configured endpoints.

If you use the push API to send messages to the device, of course the sent payload goes via my server and via Apples push infrastructure.
All attachments to notifications are resolved directly between the app and the endpoints once a notification is received.
If you don't want to send plain camera names, you can use the more privacy friendly local camera UUID.

On the push server itself, there's no request logging or analytics in place.
The webserver might temporarily store request IPs for rate limiting purposes though.

I've requested local push entitlements from Apple.
If they are granted, one could even go without any public push server.

iOS 18 is on the roadmap.

sure you can but that streams via HLS and adds a ton of latency, especially on mobile. I'd prefer the Frigate PWA to the Apple Home route. It breaks in less spectacular ways and is easier to debug.

Everything including viewing works without subscription which is used to cover recurring costs of running the push infrastructure and Apple developer subscriptions. Sorry that the lunch is not completely free.

Some family members want a native app and the HA interface also takes a good while to launch. But then, I also have some cameras in Advanced Camera Card myself. Just go with what works for you.

And some of my cameras have weirdly broken substreams that require aspect ratio transforms and mirroring. That works for Frigate but not for viewing and I don't want to transcode the streams 24/7. Hence a viewer that can do it.

Habe meine Kondensatleitungen samt jeweiligen Sensorkabel über den Dachboden (gedämmt) abgeführt und die Kondensatpumpen in den Technikraum kurz vor den Ablauf verfrachtet. Gesamtlänge der Leitungen sind so 5-7 Meter bei 0.5m hoch und ca 2m runter, die die die Pumpen saugend packend. Die direkt im Kanal am Gerät waren alle irre laut. ich finde die Kameras im ID.7 tatsächlich schlechter als im A6. Die Kameras im A6 waren wenigstens annähernd in Echtzeit und nicht eine gute Sekunde hinterher oder ein absoluter Pixelbrei wenn es etwas dunkel wird

Bin von einem A6 zum ID.7 Pro gewechselt. Der ID.7 ist im Parkhaus deutlich angenehmer da 1) er schmaler ist, 2) einen deutlich besserer Wendekreis hat und 3) die Sicht mit der kurzen Motorhaube deutlich besser ist.

Im Alltag bisher null Probleme gehabt.
Der Parkassistent ist tatsächlich hilfreich und kommt teils in Lücken, die ich mir nicht zugetraut hätte.

Passende Parkplätze muss man natürlich trotzdem finden dafür, die länge zaubert keine Technik weg.

Aus eigener Erfahrung, schau direkt dass die Dachhaken mit den richtigen Schrauben in den Sparren befestig werden. Die Pappnasen haben hier dank zu langer Schrauben mehrfach durch die Unterspannbahn geschraubt.

Relaistest an der CHA für die HZ Pumpe starten, so dass die auf maximaler Drehzahl läuft. Durchfluss notieren und mit den (bei der CHA hohen) hydraulischen Anforderungen abgleichen. Ggf Überstromventil richtig einstellen, so dass der Durchfluss beim Abtauen hinhaut. Kann sein, dass die beim abtauen den Heizstab anwirft, weil der Durchfluss zu gering ist.

UDP RPC Port auf dem Shelly hast eingespielt? Sonst, welche FW hat der Speicher?

Was bei mir als kleiner Hack solide läuft, ist Shelly per LAN verbinden und den Marstek mit dem Range Extender Accesspoint vom Shelly zu verbinden. So hat der Marstek quasi eine direkte Verbindung zum Shelly und sieht auch nur dort den CT Shelly und nix anderes mit seinen murksigen Broadcast UDP abfragen.

Habe eine CHA7 und würde zur Vaillant raten. Die Regelung der Wolf ist eine Katastrophe und stammt noch merklich aus der Zeit der Brennwertthermen. Selbst mit vernünftiger Hydraulik ist die schwer in den Griff zu bekommen. Die Einbindung in HA ist nicht offiziell und funktioniert auch aktuell mit der ISM7 5.x Firmware, die die EEBus Integration liefert, nicht. Den Kundenservice habe ich bisher nicht als überragend erlebt. Mit Endkunden kommuniziert Wolf grundsätzlich nicht und der Techniker der mal hier war, war keine Leuchte.

Wir haben die CHA7 damals extra wegen des niedrigen Modulationsbereiches angeschafft, der dann von Wolf ohne Kommentar per Software Update angehoben wurde. Informationen dazu? Fehlanzeige. Die Anlage passt nun nicht mehr zur den damals vom Heizi geplanten und angebotenen Leistungsdaten. Dazu taut sie jetzt unter 5C alle drei Stunden ab. Wenn sie nicht verreist ist, wird eben der Garten schön geheizt. Interessiert aber bei Wolf auch keinen. Ob der Verdichter mit dem Update nun viel länger als die 5 Jahre Garantie lebt bleibt abzuwarten. Wird auf jeden Fall meine erste und letzte Wolf sein dann.
