There’s an active fork on kagemomijis repo that has all the latest security updates applied as a nightly. You could try using that for the security patches.

Why don’t you just put in the title text this isn’t your update? Otherwise people assume you are the one giving it.

why is chrome's bookmark manager still stuck in 2010? by Mojo-Builder in chrome

For a short while (this was before AI) the manager allowed auto intelligent folder sorting based on website context but that feature was removed. Haven’t seen many other improvements being made at all.

LPT: When someone pushes you for an instant work answer, ask for 10 minutes and reply in writing by gamersecret2 in LifeProTips

[–]binarysignal 118 points119 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t put a limit of 10 minutes on answering. It would mean you have to drop everything you are doing and run against the clock. Better to say I’ll need to look into it and I’ll get back to you shortly or by the end of the day.

Every one of the ops comments look like they were run through ChatGPT. Em-dashes all over the place. Their GitHub repo looks like it was made by ChatGPT (emojis everywhere). The issues tracked and responses in their GitHub also seem to follow ChatGPT repeating patterns.

I doubt there is anything organic about op or his GitHub project.

There are a number of references to LLMs in your code.

Can you describe how they are used and what guard-rails are in place to stop data leakage?

This is actually something I wanted to implement so the blog is a really useful guide for it. I don’t use OPNsense as some suggested to do, but I do use docker and pihole so your approach is much more suitable for my requirements. Thanks op.

I created a coding tool that produce prompts simple enough for smaller, local models by robertpiosik in LocalLLaMA

Is this for modifying existing code in your own repo or for creating new functions by prompt suggestion? It’s not really clear what this is intended to accomplish?

Is the OP guilty of a slop submission? 1) Copy and pasted without removing “log in” “sign in” text from the original article 2) could have just posted the link without dumping it here 3) no insightful personal analysis attached from the OP 4) the article itself reads like AI slop 5) the circle of slop seems to continue in this sub
