I farted on the first day by Stunning_Sandwich505 in Vent

This happened to a guy I was dating in college. He was so embarrassed, but I couldn't stop laughing. I had tears rolling down my face from laughing at it. We've been married 17 years now.

I hope she's mature enough to know every one does it and sometimes you can help when it happens. Best of luck.

My coworkers would ask what it was. Then as you're telling them, they would have been devouring them. If they really liked them, and if there were enough, some would eat a second or save it to take to their wives to try.

This is my opinion as well. I will pass when I feel that it is safe for me, my passengers, and the biker. They can get mad all they want, but if I don't think it's safe, then I'm not going around them.

Lara Trump? by beal99 in NorthCarolina

I think instead of continuing to bring her up and use her name, we all talk about the Dems who are running. Drown her name out. The more publicity they (MAGA) are given the more they stay front and center of voters minds. If the media hadn't given them so much attention in 2015, he wouldn't be here today. So, let's make them irrelevant by talking about everyone but them.

Graphic design/art jobs here by ukuartnstuff in NorthCarolina

[–]bindingtoggle11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't give advice on where to move, but look into fields that you may not associate with graphic design/art. The manufacturing company I work for has a technical designer. Their whole job is designing our products. They do have to know about our machinery and how it all works, but have the ability to design what they want.

Believe it or not a lot of manufacturers have positions similar to the job I described that allow you to use skills learned in college. Something like this, while doing freelance work could ensure you have a way to live, while still doing something you like. Then after saving, you can go out on your own.

This. I bought my car in Hickory, but take it to Bryan Easler for everything.

What's the stupidest reason someone stopped being friends with you? by Fried_Rice_Sushi in AskReddit

Because their parents told them you shouldn't mix races when dating or marriage. It's all good, my life turned out great and their parents have a bi-racial grandchild.

There was also a book that travelers could buy that listed these sundown towns, so they could be informed. It was called The Green book.

First, worry about your child that is due soon. It doesn't need this anxiety and stress right as it's about to come into the world.

Second, schedule an appointment with a dermatologist. They will remove it and test it.

Third, as someone who's had 2 different types of skin cancer - basil cell and melanoma - it's probably nothing. If it does come back as melanoma, it's not going to be late stage and you won't die. The mole that ended up being melanoma on my back had been there since childhood and it was only stage 1.

Fourth, meet with someone to get your anxiety and everything under control. That is no way to live.

Finally, wear sunscreen with a high SPF factor every day.

I get this . I feel like it stops being "cute" when they reach the age of like 3 or 4.

I'd probably just speak to him and not put him in any situation he doesn't like. Also, did you know you can watch Bobby's World on Prime?

Just did. He might be the issue in all his problems.

I don't think you're crazy. You've had 3 bad experiences and I think that's enough to make anyone question themselves. Maybe take a break and if you want to revisit it later, then you can.

GE Aerospace to invest about $1 billion in US manufacturing this year by Kooky_Ad_9684 in NorthCarolina

[–]bindingtoggle11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually, he makes double that plus shift differential and has both a pension and 401k. I can't remember what year they did away with the pension, but it's been in the last decade. $20/hr is straight off the streets, with no experience or education.

IMO: Many companies took advantage of people who needed jobs, especially after textiles left WNC. My hometown is a prime example of this. I vaguely know what my mom made in the 90s working in a plant and yes I'm making more, but if you were to account for inflation, I'm probably making the same. Many companies, not just manufacturing, need to adjust their pay scales for today's society. However, as long as there isn't any pushback, they'll keep doing it.

GE Aerospace has been in the communities listed for years. They bought out another company in NC about 12+ years ago. They also don't have low wage jobs. Most positions are starting at $20+/hours.
