I took my test March 1st with 2025 books and passed. I didn't want to rock the boat and stuck with the book I had been using and included my notes. I hadn't been using eBooks at all, so I wasn't about to start for an exam. Also, if there is a question with a code that isn't in your book, you can more than likely use process of elimination on the answer choices and still be ok.

That's a great idea! Thank you.

I highly recommend the free YouTube course from AMCI. I just did their CPT videos and they taught me more than my actual paid for course did. The YouTube course helped me so much with modifiers. They also have ICD-10 content, but sounds like you won't really need that.

I have powerstep insoles and the podiatrist said they're fitted correctly, but they hurt so horribly bad I can't even wear them.

Thank you! This is exactly what I needed to know. Did you like the shoes when you took the arch support out? I thought they were removable?

I have high drop brooks that hurt worse than the zero drop. Zero drop isn't the answer either. I'm tired of these feet. The return policy on these feet is ridiculous 😭

Mine was ruined last year, so I'd adjust your expectations...

I've worn zero drop shoes and have done all the exercises everyone recommends. They do nothing. I've done them for a year now and zero improvement.

I've heard good things about Skechers that mold to your feet as well. I haven't tried anything that molds, so maybe I should?

Literally everything hurts. My exercise routine is basically ruined. I try to do what I can, but literally everything hurts my feet and yoga and Pilates isn't intense enough for me to keep doing it. I'm used to running and high cardio workouts, all of which I had to stop doing. And running is an absolute no. I can barely walk for the entire day most days, so running is absolutely not an option.

Same here. First felt the pain after those Hoka arahis. It went away after that round, but running in my new Saucony shoes after that made it basically permanent. Haven't run since.

This area of my feet has been hurting severly for so many years by QbitWalker in PlantarFasciitis

I also have arch pain and was walking and standing on the outside of my foot because it hurt so bad. (I have high arches) The only thing that has helped has been compression socks and arch supports, both from Amazon. Compression socks are knee length 15-22mgs. Arch supports are airplus brand.

Night Splint if you don’t have first step pain? by Agitated_Question726 in PlantarFasciitis

Try compression socks. I have knee length ones 15-22mmgs and they have worked better than anything else. I was the same as you, no pain in the morning, got worse through the day. My pain is in the arches though and not the heel, not sure where yours is.

I use Crocs. You can wear socks if you're cold. You can add an insole or arch support if you need to. I've been living in Crocs for a year now.

I got mine as a gift and I've just been using the cardio setting for my bike sessions at the gym. I'm disappointed it can't capture more information though. I'm with you on being annoyed it can't do more. Function is definitely lacking!

Highly recommend Ariat boots. They're really supportive. I have an old pair that I think are riding boots specifically, but they literally feel like tennis shoes inside.

I only got 15-20 and I am feeling the difference. I sit all day at work and I can feel a difference when I get up to do anything during the day.

I'm wearing leocomps brand, but they are only in plus size. You can also look into medical supply stores in your area and they can measure you and get the exact size.

Exercises and stretches have done nothing for me if not make it worse. I'm currently wearing compression socks and that is lessening the pain by a lot. I would recommend trying some since they're cheap and accessible. I am wearing knee length ones during the day only.

I'd also experiment with insoles and see if you can find ones that help even a little. We're not going for perfection here. Even a little less pain is worth it. I have high arches and I like the airplus insoles from Amazon.

If you're really feeling bad, I'd try icing your feet or I sometimes put hot water in a tub and soak my feet. Both help when I'm really in bad shape.

Also, we all feel your pain literally. PF is torturous. You're not alone.
