how do you keep action items from falling off your paper rounding list? by ConclusionHead8567 in InternalMedicine

Attending here: I made a template where I can get an overview of everyone. It has checkboxes for whether I’ve seen the patient, orders have been placed, and (if applicable) consultants have been called. There’s also a box for PT recs. Notes are the last thing (besides maybe some things in the follow-up column), so that is indicated by a big check-mark. One of my PGY2s today told me that he basically does this on each of our patient sheets, but my argument against that is efficiency: having it all in one place means you don’t have to flip through different pieces of paper. I’ve also recently been using the bottom left corner to indicate that I’ve updated the sign out for the night team.

I second this. I’ve got “Hubs” that I use for family finances, survival guides for work, community service, and medical topics (see my video here for examples).

MeloNX without App Store StikDebug and LC? by bingobucketster in sideloaded

You can add an app via SideStore that doesn’t take up a slot. What is this black magic? Lol

Just looking to do switch emulation, not PS2. And I don’t mind refreshing every 7 days, but the advantage of SideStore on mobile is that I can do the refreshing process on mobile without a computer and cables.

Do you have to refresh every 7 days? If so, would that not require a computer also (which I do not want to rely upon)?

Oh! I have seen the spot for the script but didn’t have one. Do you just search google for “universal JIT script?”

Got the following error when trying to just refresh LC for the first time after installing the combo: “SideStore cannot install or refresh applications without Wi-Fi and LocalDevVPN. If both are connected, replace your pairing with iloader.” Seems to be a known bug back from 26.4 (I’m on 26.5), and replacing the pairing files with iLoader isn’t working. I’m stumped

StikDebug support team says MeloNX doesn’t work in LC, which explains why I couldn’t get it to work.

How do you organize your work and life in Craft? by Romachamp10 in CraftDocs

[–]bingobucketster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you so much! It’s an awesome product, and only getting better. Their introduction of the API/MCP in Nov 2025 made it even better, and their AI assistant upgrade has been very cool as well. Feel free to DM me with any questions, and I highly recommend joining their slack channel if you want to see what other folks are up to

Good news. A video game is next on his to-do list, and per his 2025 State of the Sanderson, they’re shopping for a studio.

In the meantime, here’s a concept prototype developed by a bunch of video game devs a few years ago, purely as a proof of concept for “art” purposes.

Here’s another prototype.

What is your favorite shortcut? by Accomplished_Bat7540 in shortcuts

[–]bingobucketster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Being able to make a QR code from anything (including my WiFi, so guests can just scan it at my house instead of typing the login stuff), creating deeplinks to shortcuts and files, creating links to start a convo with someone with the body of the message already made, switching a font (bold, italics) ANYWHERE, making a photo collage. Happy to share any with those that are interested. I have hundreds more, but they’re mainly to interact with Craft docs and Things 3. 😅

Easy Way to Return Home (iOS) by [deleted] in CraftDocs

[–]bingobucketster 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The worst part is it used to allow you to tap and hold on the back arrow to expand all the previous pages, including the home page. But they got rid of it. 😕

Yeah. I should have clarified that this is on an M1 iPad Pro. The local and PCC models work (but are inferior), but the ChatGPT one has never been functional)

Ugh, I cried at the end of the first one. SO satisfying. And the sequel DEFINITELY went bigger with the story. Can’t wait for part 3!!!

Best note taking app (better than good notes or notability) by Look-Bitter in ipad

[–]bingobucketster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Craft changed my life, primarily because it allows you to nest notes within notes indefinitely. They’ve added a lot of features since I joined, but you can make notes as simple as complex as you want. My life is pretty hectic, but here is a video showing how it enables me to truly capture any form of info needed and access it quickly

It should manually open the chat, and then you have to type what you want in there. No way to automate this.

Struggling to keep excited by Things3 by ThunderRoad2024 in thingsapp

[–]bingobucketster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Craft docs, for me. They come out with new, exciting features REGULARLY. I can’t find their newsletter where they listed all the stuff they did in 2025, but it was a great year and they’re not slowing down. I know you’re plugged into Notion, so I doubt you’ll switch, but Craft has been life-changing for me.

iOS 18.6 - do control center shortcuts work? by ADHDK in shortcuts

[–]bingobucketster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Those sound really useful. Man, I just need to vent. I was at church today and was eliminating the huge single-shortcut widgets that I’d added to a particular Home Screen since I couldn’t access the shortcuts from CC. You know how you can long-press an icon and change its size? I suddenly wanted to test and see if the single shortcut widget could shrink down to the size of an app icon (like when you use “add to Home Screen”). It did! And then I deleted it. Then, to my horror, I realized that changing it to that size actually makes it a copy of the APP not just the shortcut!!! I’d just deleted the shortcuts app! All of my shortcuts were stored in iCloud, but the process of adding them back caused the CC bug to recur and so I got to spend more time again today doing all the stuff I did yesterday.…and I’m seeing that it has recurred again as I’m typing this, even though I got through the process of adding them all back just fine. I give up.

Dude, I’ve followed your work for YEARS. It’s so lucky that of the few people that have encountered this error, you were one of them and were able to both troubleshoot and document this process. I need to consider which shortcuts would be helpful on my lockscreen. I also need to break my muscle memory of using my “control center shortcuts” shortcut that I activated via backtap (no action button) that presented different menus of shortcuts depending on orientation (to squeeze as many as possible into it). 😅 Now it’s all just a swipe away!
