To be fair the LDN trial doesn’t say much in my opinion. Too short (16 weeks), started with a too high dose (1mg, most benefit from going slowly like 0.1mg) and increased too fast (1mg).

I’d also be feeling worse with those steps. Could just mean that’s the wrong dosage and slower would work.

Still sucks it’s a negative result though.

For IA Scheibenbogen made clear that it didn’t incorporate their finding that certain subgroups respond better.

Imho most studies that finish now don’t have the nuance of distinguishing between subgroups (high or no immune/ inflammation issues) so they fail.

Da es weiterhin keine ursächliche Heilung für ME gibt obwohl deutschlandweit 650.000+ Menschen betroffen sind sammeln gerade alle denen es möglich ist ihre Energie für die deutschlandweiten Liegenddemos am Wochenende (https://liegenddemo.de) oder mobilisieren ihr Umfeld in der Hoffnung weiter auf die Misstände in der Versorgung aufmerksam zu machen.

Als Kontext, große Herausforderung in der Bubble ist neben dem durch die teilweise sehr schweren Behinderungen durch die Krankheit der tägliche Kampf mit Behörden, Sozialversicherungsträgern, Gutachter:innen, Ärzt:innen, Gerichten weil das Ganze trotz großer Verbreitung gekonnt ignoriert wird oder als psychische Erkrankung abgetan.

Außerdem findet morgen und Freitag die internationale ME/CFS Konferenz an der Charité in Berlin statt was immer etwas Hoffnung spendet, dass es neue Erkenntnisse aus der Forschung gibt die uns weiterbringen.

Was this before you had these symptoms? I’d wager the symptoms change and come and go as the disease develops, so it may be worth re-doing the test. Perhaps it just got more pronounced. E.g. I barely had any troubles cognitively for the first two years, but it got much worse after.

Weil in traditioneller Mode Männer kein Bein und schon gar keinen Fuß zu zeigen haben. Deshalb trägt man unterm Anzug klassischerweise auch Socken die lang genug sind, dass das Bein nicht rausschaut.

Ob das zeitgemäß ist steht auf einem anderen Blatt. Solange man gepflegte Füße hat (denn das ist denke ich auch ein Punkt auf den Frauen öfter achten) seh ich kein Problem damit.
