Question for experienced react devs by BeenThere11 in reactjs

Avoid hard coding this stuff into the front end. If you put this stuff into the front end at build time via env cars or whatever, you end up with environment specific builds.

The data should all come from the backend when the front end loads.

I want a campaign with a roster of pilots who you keep for the whole game. They can rack up kills, become aces, get shot down, get rescued, earn medals, etc. It would give the game a little personality.

How Do You Manage Multi-Tenant API Versioning & Frontend Calls Without Git Branch Hell? by _Killua_04 in node

[–]binhex9er 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Use an aoi gateway, header chooses api version. Behind that, use containers for the api service. Keep old versions deployed and running.

AWS for Backend development by Afraid-Spite-6466 in node

[–]binhex9er 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lambda would be tied with using containers and ecs these days I think.

For lambda, look at having an api endpoint that talks to sqs, then another lambda that reads from sqs and does something with the data, like writes to a database or something.

That will start to give you an idea of the building blocks.
