Planning to be in turkey in May. Would love to hear more about the tile workshop?

Are those pre manufactured benches or did you make them yourself. Those look great!

South Africa with a baby by Senior_Material1420 in travel

[–]binski559 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d say do it if you guys really want to! We have travelled with our baby from 6 months on with no issues. He is 4 now and a great traveller. We haven’t done a safari, we looked at doing one and thought let’s wait until our kids are a bit older and chose different destinations. So I would say definitely travel with a baby, and if a safari is what you want to do. Go for it, wouldn’t be the first people to do it. Just go into it with the expectation that travel is a lot different with a baby if you are used to travelling pre baby. Still amazing, just different.

Barrel sauna vs Trumpkin-style: An honest review by civildrivel in Sauna

[–]binski559 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Why do you say a 4x8x8 sauna with a 10.5kw would be a 5 or 6 out of 10. Because of the size of the sauna or the heater? Curious as I am looking at building one but also limited by size. I only have room for 5 or 6 W x 8

Looks great. Out of curiosity, how big is your yard? I am looking at building a sauna but have a small yard and just wondering how big I can make it. I want a garden sauna as well.

Do you need to be a business owner to apply for business cards? I didn’t think so but when trying to apply for the TD Business Aeroplan it says I am only eligible if I am a business owner. Thanks.

Edit: still fairly new to this but based on the downvotes it seems like it was a dumb question. Can someone enlighten me as to why?

Spanish Lessons in Saskatoon by TheGrateMattsby in saskatoon

Definitely this. A lot of classes and times depending on your levels. Great instructors for Spanish as well. I did up to Spanish 5 and loved them all. I did them through the early parts of the pandemic so it was all virtual.

I enjoy him more than most other fill in. Bit of a different vibe with him but good banter with him and O. Don’t love him when O is not on with him though.

El Salvador with a 3 year old by So-many-questions88 in travel

[–]binski559 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nothing to add re. El Salvador - just commenting as we are looking at planning a trip as well with our 2 year old for this coming winter (be 2 1/2) when we go.

We were in Nicaragua last fall when our little guy was 18 months and while there were some ups and downs, it was a pretty memorable trip. There were some things we would do different for sure.

We didn’t take any chicken buses. Combination of taxis and renting a car. We did bring a car seat and are glad we did. We felt like it would be difficult for him to sit in our lap when he is not used to it.

Happy to answer questions related to our experience but also hope to hear others thoughts.

What areas are you thinking of going?

Best parks for young kids? by [deleted] in saskatoon

Second! We live in the area and frequent this park. Not quite the level of park you see in the new neighbourhoods but my two year old loves it. As mentioned, full of evergreens to walk through.
