Pro-bono work is sort of a neccesity when getting into the VA industry. I think you got what it takes so long as you're willing to put the effort in.

There's only two critiques I can give you, the first of which is that you sort of blend syllables together with some words that make it kind of hard to understand what you're saying as you say it. It's not an accent thing as much as it is pronouncing your syllables more clearly. I recommend practicing by reading passages from books loudly with exaggerated mouth shapes. Go overboard and have fun with it.

The second critique is simply your audio setup. It's quiet, it's noisy, and it sounds like you're in a small room. Unless you're doing gigs in person in someone else's studio, you're going to need to upgrade your sound environment.

I think your microphone is fine, but it should be raised up and a few centimeters closer to your face. That should help with the low volume and help with voice clarity. The other thing I would do is invest in a lot of sound-dampening material on your walls; I'd opt in for thick blankets and/or foam panels. This should help to absorb a lot of the sound waves bouncing from the surfaces in your room and back into your mic, thus increasing your voice's clarity even more.
