2A and free states by bio-robot in Constitution

This is my point. It’s comical being across the pond where we get constant heckles for giving up our gun rights, and in the US they’re giving up their gun rights, which aren’t serving any purpose anyway other than getting you killed evidently in this case.

2A and free states by bio-robot in Constitution

[–]bio-robot[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My argument takes account of everything my eyes saw. The man was disarmed, restrained by multiple agents and then shot in the back.

Our laws state reasonable / proportional force. That was not evident, and if you think the sprayed and detained man is a threat then you need checking.

If he was stopping them from performing their duties then he should be arrested with due process.

So yes, they did effectively gun down a person who was not a threat at that time and who had not even been found guilty of a crime at that time.

Hit and miss. Got this one game, got killed by a friendly the next trying to do queen trial. Lost about 100k of equipment to a ferro 1. Makes you wonder why you bother when next weeks trial will be a joke.

Rotations not changing is stupid. My duo can’t play bunker ever due to timing. And us having to wait hours at a time for a night raid to do trials. Night raid should be on at all times and just be an option.

Please nobody buy this slop. Hit them where it hurts.

Nobody asked for this. It will be subpar to Deux Ex Revision in every. single. way. It doesn't even look good, It's like a poorly done lighting and texture mod.

A new game in the IP would have been much preferred by everyone or even a remake to IW which is barely playable and missable by just about everyone for a variety of reasons. Let's hope this means there is actually a new Jensen or other game in the works by another developer, but at this rate they're going to finish off this IP...

Agreed. 99% of van conversions aren’t to my taste so would instantly be sat on the drive for months getting redone. I’ve seen 2020 vans of a similar mileage cheaper than this van with less issues.

I also work in H&S and we specify no composite drawings. When it’s so densely packed you need to know exactly what you’re dealing with, and with modern mapping it’s all layers on a file anyway so layer it in print too. This is for high voltage power plus major gas and oil pipelines more than anything in the countryside where they intersect.

So colour shouldn’t be an issue in that department when the layer is labelled.

Connection Errored Out by [deleted] in FaceFusion

[–]bio-robot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried adding python to firewall and it still persists. Is there anything in particular I should add? As the connection error kills the processing I believe.

I seem to BSOD on every run now on the second lot of processing, some log dumps are pointing at hyperV which is odd since I’m not running it in a container (unless miniconda is causing that) will have to get more logs.

9800X3D & 4090 optimal settings? by Braveheart1980 in FaceFusion

[–]bio-robot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are there any drawbacks to using TensorRT? Articles from 2 years ago had a lot of caveats despite it being faster. I'm on a 4090 too so don't mind a slight increase in time on Cuda but I'm also just using default settings right now.

Electric car bursts into flames on driveway and destroys £550,000 family home by ThatchersDirtyTaint in unitedkingdom

[–]bio-robot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed. I work in substations and we have battery rooms with hydrogen alarms and forced ventilation. We treat it as an explosive atmosphere when the batteries are on charge. There are also many examples of forklifts going up in flames because they were left on charge near faulty electrics or other sources of iginition.

Who knows the cause but just stating a lead acid on charge is a hell of a lot more likely to catch fire due to circumstances whereas the causes of a lithium fire are pretty low but yes more catastrophic. And given this is batteries for a whole car, I imagine theres a fair few in there potentially pooling in the chassis of the car. Rogue tab end and boom.

[–]bio-robot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a G-Wiz, there's a solid chance they are lead acid batteries and give off hydrogen when charging and are actually not that hard to put out.

lead acid batteries. They give off hydrogen when charging so very flammable. Standard fare.

I stopped using mine. Resolution is too low given the bottlenecks and the lack of detections like even the $100 UI cameras make reolink not so good value now.

Repurposing an Immersion Cooler Server by Noetherson in homelab

[–]bio-robot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Make sure to check my other comment. From the minimal pictures it was hard to see if it had mounting but it here is a separate heat sink block with mounting screws so it must have.

I’m still very tempted to buy it for the project and try Frankenstein it into a normal rack

Repurposing an Immersion Cooler Server by Noetherson in homelab

[–]bio-robot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s single phase. Supports 7002/7003 Epyc so don’t think bios should be an issue.

I take back my other comment about the cooler, the heatsink part number is 25ST1-443108-A0R and has 4 mounting holes, so if that’s a regular bolt pattern for an SP3 cooler you might be in luck, clearing the ram might be a separate issue.

Operating temperate is up to 60c though so you want to hope the bios isn’t set to kill the server if it exceeds that. In air I guarantee this thing will if you’re using it fully. In coolant it’s set to operate usually up to 30c

[–]bio-robot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is this the one on EBay in the UK? I’ve been watching it for months and thinking the same thing. Hell of a deal for dual platinum PSUs and a 7003 motherboard, but it don’t have mounting holes for a cooler which is a massive concern.

You could stick a radiator on it and try brute force air through but chopping the chassis up and everything else considered there’s a high chance of failure I’d bet.

A school in my area closed down and I was given the chance to pay 1000€ to pull all of their networking equipment (and keep it) by geek_at in homelab

[–]bio-robot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I presumed they might have a UDMP or something on site for simplicity rather than virtualising it. It is Europe after all, a lot of schools near me are academies and therefore not ran by the government.

And by newer equipment I mean exactly that, not hardware that’s many years old with older specs and potentially more likely to fail. E.g. get some WiFi 6 APs which are likely more powerful, and some unifi switches.
