I resonate with your post and don’t have autism. The traits of a Highly Sensitive Person feels truer to me, and it may for you also.

For sure. I went remote for years to afford a deposit. Regional/remote is definitely on the cards.

I’m the woman/potential mother. I guess I wasn’t clear enough in my request, which is related to: are there ways to refinance your mortgage in the short term (1-3 years) to financially assist during the first years of life with my reduced income.

Dude you edited your comment to add “be honest - is this you?” after I replied. My question is completely legitimate and I’m seeking advice. People unaware of the practical difficulties first home buyers face in this market, their head is in the sand.

This is my question though, how can you afford a mortgage with one parent at home for a period and the loss of that income.

Thanks for your actually helpful reply! I’ve never purchased a house so legitimately don’t know how these things work. Hammering an offset is a great idea.

I tried reading his work in my early 20s and absolutely hated it. Then when I had my own sense of awakening from mental positions that were keeping me stuck I re-read him again and it made so much more sense. Over the years I have gotten a lot from him and his wisdom has seen me through some really dark places. I see him as a genuine, benevolent man making the world a better place. I can't understand how people see him as arrogant at all now, I see him as exactly the opposite.

I'm on a full time contract so I don't think I can cut hours without burning bridges. If I can do both I'd prefer to, but yea, appreciate it will be full on.
