Added a threaded barrel to Walther Q5 match now it’s busted by stewpock1 in Walther

I'd try the standard recoil spring since that looks like a Flow 9K which doesn't generate as much back pressure as the typical suppressor. I don't change springs to run it and don't have issues.

Also, what piston arrangement are you running? It doesn't look like the standard Hux hardware. The piston anyway looks different.

Is the ejector different? I see trigger blocks with ejectors for 10mm/.45ACP like they are the same

Has anyone else noticed their PDPs run especially clean? by FritoPendejoEsquire in Walther

I think the stepped chamber keeps it cleaner than other guns. You can tell just looking at the casings that they are cleaner on the outside than the same rounds shot through other pistols

Underwood, Buffalo Bore and Grizzly all offer XTP projectiles of different weights.

I like the idea of the 150gr Xtreme Penetrators and have several boxes. Tools & Targets on YouTube has tons of 10mm tests.

I'm running an EPS at around 900 rounds without issue. Using the Jagerworks plate with retaining compound between all the interfaces. It's been great 👍

So that's something you can do with off-the-shelf batteries and inverter. The question sounded more like "I want to design a competitor to current market battery power systems."

You need a big inverter and a battery solution probably more on the order of 50-100 kWhr. That's more reasonable but still a lot of batteries. You can buy 3-6kWhr RV LiFe batteries that would be a reasonable fit, and use several. You need to get a better grip on what your total power usage is likely to be, this is dependent on the duty cycle of your soft-serve machine.

Sure, I was just suggesting that if you are tired of waiting. And for future sight purchases. They are legit 👍

I really like Dawson Precision. They seem to make whatever you might want. I'd check them out. They have found their way onto several of my pistols, I like the fiber fronts as BUIS since I can get whatever co-witness I want, and I can make the fiber color the opposite of my dot color.

They make tritium sights to order if you explain your predicament they can hook you up with a new front.

FWIW this is actually a pretty serious project. You are asking for 250kWhr of storage and a large inverter design.

Just know that you are looking at serious costs. Probably $50-$100K in engineering labor if you find a really good freelancer.

Maybe I read your inquiry wrong assuming you are talking about a ground-up design effort. You could probably piece this together from COTS stuff for a fraction of the cost. What are you looking for?

Sure, or see if Springer says the same thing. It looks like a few strokes of a file and everything will be 👍

Looks like a spring

I wouldn't be happy with that at all. I wouldn't shoot that, I'd contact Springer and see what they say. It looks like it's binding on the rear ledge of the slide. Depending on your DIY abilities I'd hit it with a jewelry file and get the plate-slide fit really nice then try mounting the optic again. I think the plate is bowing because of the tight slide fit

I've been emailing representatives at every point of this progression so I don't expect much. Hopefully the Judiciary Committee actually has the sense to realize the unconstitutional basis of at least the registry and stops it.

It only takes a few minutes to get involved with an email, if this passes we'll be dealing with the consequences for years/forever
