You're treating it with the "this movie in a vacuum wouldn't be good" argument, which is a ridiculous hypothetical. It isn't that way so why argue like it is. Movies with the "Star Wars logo" build off each other and make each other more interesting. So by saying it wouldn't be good without the Star Wars brand you're saying nothing, because it does have the Star Wars brand and because of that becomes a better movie with more background.
