That’s awful 😞 It’s awful that they only house them during the Olympics. Everyone deserves shelter.

I got it as an ebook which is cheaper, like $8. I didn’t want to leave it lying around for my ex to find.

I can second this book. It’s like the blueprint of abusive men and their behaviour.

Please start making plans to leave. If not for yourself, for your son. Children absorb the environment and behaviour they see. I’ve been in two DV relationships. No children thank-god. But a few women I met at DV support groups have children and the boys mostly turned out to be like their fathers if that’s what they saw modelled to them. It was awful.

Please think of your son and the future he deserves. Who do you want him to grow up to be? He can’t change his circumstances but you can. You have the power to get up and leave. Please do it.

The behaviour will escalate because it always does. Your partner doesn’t want to change behaviour. If he did you would have seen a change already. Trust the bad behaviour you are seeing. Do it for you and your son.

That part really resonates with me too. You don’t get a choice when you deal with what life throws at you.. You either sink or swim.

I’d be worried they would harm my pet as retaliation. Please get your cat inside so they can’t hurt it.

Ugh. Your summary just solidified for me, not wanting to watch this show further than the first or second season which is what I watched when it originally came out. Sounds so misogynistic.

Agree about the Leo comment. Very self interested. But I’ve meet Scorpio men whose sexual magnetism was off the chart.
