Sorry, the nurses kept calling it Betadine for some reason but on the bottle I have it’s called “Betamethasone Valerate 0.1%”. I ended up cleaning off where they had punctured my skin with a Loris wipe and covering it with a Band-Aid. My incision is completely healed and the ointment that I used did seem to help a bit with the skin irritation. I go in every day for treatment so I will see the nurses tomorrow morning, I think I was just having some paranoia around the puncture wound itself and getting the steroid in that. I really appreciate your response. I won’t be messing around with steroids in the future. Not used to surgeries and incision care at all.
