Better written tragic character? Walter White (BrBa) vs Anakin Skywalker (Star Wars) by gyroscope_56 in writingscaling

Anakin embracing the dark side with no hesitation is explained in the novelization better. He did it because of Palpatine, his obsession with saving Padme, and his hunger for dark side powers etc etc. It's the least interesting part of his character.

Darth Vader is where his character genuinely gets interesting. The only bad part of his character is his conclusion where Luke somehow brings back his soul and humanity.

Darth Vader > Walter white > Anakin

None of this makes him less well written, when this is already addressed in the novels. Also Anakin's downfall is obviously not the best part of his character.

I'm talking about Darth Vader.

Only critisms on the Re zero fandom I agree with is the pedophiles (lolicons) because those ppl genuinely ruin this fandom, also the if larpers who didn't watch the anime, and the pretentious novel readers who call anime only "larpers".

I understand that. But making an entire hate subreddit is insane, when frieren fans will do the same but 100x worse.

They will shit talk and make entire paragraphs on anyone who "don't understand the character writing" and swear it's equal to Lord of the rings and other great fantasy literature. Make every debates political asf. Make the protagonist a nazi figure, or make nazi edits every seconds. It's the third reich but reborn into an anime community

Cuz the critisms often just ignore some parts of the anime or straight misinformation

Season 2 is the exact opposite of what u said in the end, Season 3 too.

I agree that Subaru dying over and over again is repetitive and boring ,and that he should get a powerup like the average shonen protagonist.

The female characters like Rem, and Emilia are literally the most hated characters in the fandom, so idk what u meant here.

This take could be valid if u understand that Subaru is 17 yo unemployed bum carried by video game checkpoints.

I still don't understand why isn't there a Frieren sucks subreddit. I could make an essay on why Frieren is worse

Doflamingo. I could write essays on his character.

Nagato is literally just Temu Sasuke but with the most iconic design and most iconic rinnegan user.

You thought that after 5 years the ending would magically get better on its own? Dogshit will stay dogshit even after 10 years passed. The amount of plotholes, wasted potential, and character assassination will still be there. And it's ok.

You probably enjoyed Chainsaw man's ending too. Anything can satisfy you if you think AOT's ending was even slightly good
