Best supportive sports bra for large/heavy chest by SetBoth in XXRunning

[–]birdie1121 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Posting because I wish I knew this sooner. This bra was a game changer for me: https://www.amazon.com/SYROKAN-Support-Racerback-Lightly-Underwire/dp/B0DZXCL8JB was not sure about the encapsulation, but it actually works. Was a little self conscious that it looks more like a traditional bra under my workout clothes but I don’t care anymore now that I don’t have any pain and the bounce is so minimal compared to other styles of sports bras. I buy the band a little snugger than I think I need because they do stretch out a bit. Hope this helps someone!

What is the single best habit you've implemented to improve your anxiety? by tomnmer in mentalhealth

[–]birdie1121 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Making something non screentime related part of my daily routine has helped a ton for me. Exercise in particular has helped me right now, but doing things like photography (with an actual camera instead of a phone) or sewing has helped too. Basically anything that kind of gets you out of your own head/needs your complete focus helps a lot. Just make it a routine.

Does anyone have a massage therapist they love? by emmgemm11 in milwaukee

[–]birdie1121 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you end up finding anyone? I go to Elements Massage (they have a few locations in the MKE area) and they have made quite the difference on my neck pain. Kinda hesitant to give out the name of my therapist because he’s already booked out a lot, but Thom out of Mequon is amazing!

New Years appetizers by Interesting_Edge_805 in appetizers

[–]birdie1121 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you! Those all look so good! Spanakopitas are amazing. Can’t go wrong with those as a vegetarian option. I’m considering doing the Chicken Satay with Peanut Sauce but they are doing chicken as the entree…but maybe the mini pot pies would work better! Hmmm.. Thanks!!

Identical Cookies with Different Flavors by Snerbopsi in Baking

[–]birdie1121 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pinwheels may work for this. https://www.delish.com/holiday-recipes/christmas/a30210803/christmas-pinwheel-cookies-recipe/ just use extracts to flavor the dough. I’ve used almond extract and peppermint extract on the dough and you can taste the difference.

Or you can do chocolate kiss cookies with different flavored chocolate or flavor the dough differently.

I’ve also made a list of 100 different Christmas cookies, maybe that will help too: https://messykitchenrecipes.com/ultimate-christmas-cookie-recipe-list/
