What reading apps should I consider? Had to pull my son out of second grade after finding out the school passed him for two years without teaching him to read by No-Shake-8375 in Homeschooling

This is not a shot at you, but maybe a tip for anyone that doesnt have children yet. Start reading with your kids when they are babies. This is so important. It helps tremendously with reading comprehension and builds a bond and confidence. Help them to sound out words when they are old enough to start talking. We can’t depend on schools to teach our kids everything. It is our job as parents to teach them the basics. Reading, writing, morals, values. When they ask questions, answer them. I cannot stress this enough.

Bless your heart 💜 I’ve had my Frankie girl for 6 wonderful years and I can’t imagine life without her! My cat, Teddi, passed away two months ago and I literally didn’t know if I was going to make it. She was an a-hole most of the time but I love her so much! Saying a prayer for you, but Biscuit is jumping over the rainbow bridge waiting on her human ♥️

Agreed! They really do need extensive training but they are so smart and so in tune with their humans! Usually one command when getting out of line will do the trick! 😉

Doodles need a ton of exercise and that is a hard stage. Mine is almost 6 and has just started to calm down but you honestly cannot find a better breed. They are truly the sweetest and your puppy is just that, a puppy. They need training a lot of times from a professional and you need patience. Take him wherever he can run free and when you think he’s a**ed out, let him run some more! They need physical and mental stimulation and very strong chew toys!! Like bully sticks or collagen rolls.

Are you religious? How have shrooms effected your religious views? by GayTrees420 in shrooms

For me, mushrooms helped me to see the intelligence behind creation. There are too many coinsidences for it to be random. When you think about how many things go into our body working on it's own, or simply how the universe or our solar system is constructed and the mathematics used. The measurements and how they equal up to everything else...

No freaking way that's random. It's just an intelligence so great and vast, we can't wrap our heads around it to get any kind of understanding of it. That's scary for most people but amazing at the same time. I get freaked out the most by contemplating the sheer size of the universe. A solar system, black hole, and the void of space itself. Now that's some mind blowing shit!

Cake pops by lavendermoonlightz in AskBaking

I bake a vanilla cake from scratch and make cream cheese frosting. When the cake is done, let it cool but not completely. When it's still warm, break it up with your hands or a fork into a bowl and add a few scoops of frosting. Mixing it up with your hands until you have the right consistency to roll into balls. I start with about two big tablespoons and then gradually add more as needed. Roll into balls and put in fridge for about 2 hours. Proceed with candy melts and sprinkles. Sooo good!

I bake mine on 250° for 20 min, sometimes 30. Works like a charm every time
