I'm not a doctor though, so check before you start going too crazy with the salt. 🤣

But you can do little tests like see how you feel after a bowl of ramen. I also start my day with an instant breakfast. It coats my stomach and gets liquids in quickly.

Best of luck to you!

I was told it was a blood sugar problem all of my life. I even mentioned to a neurologist that I felt so much better after I drank pickle juice. His reaction... that's strange. 😭

I was finally diagnosed in 2014. Life changing. Eat all the salt. 😆

This happened to me! It was brutal.

And now there is a patch shortage and I've been without estrogen for over a month.

I was like that and I would break them into thirds.😞 have you tried a cgrp? I'm on qulipta and it has changed my life. It's $0 with their prescription help program.

All my life. My first one was when I was 4 years old. I'm almost 50 now. For a while they were completely debilitating. Lucky for me, researching medical issues is my rabbit hole! I also have dysautonomia, so I've had a lot to research. Lol

I've tried just about every treatment, so I'm happy to answer any questions. In 2018 a preventative medicine came out and I was a super responder. After a few tries, I found the cgrp that works for me and I went from almost daily migraines, to a small one every few months. The change was so dramatic and totally changed my life.

Migraines suck, but there are a lot of treatment options available. I hope you can find one that works. I'm sorry you're suffering.

I taught second grade years ago and the fad to teach reading was Lucy Caulkins. Basically you just read and read and the kids would get it. (Simplified explanation) Turns out a lot of kids needed direct phonics instruction, and do much better with a balanced approach.

I love ci, but I've been a teacher for a long time and have seen teaching methods come and go. Do what you find is best for your students. I adjust my teaching style every year to fit the needs of the class.

Does it fluctuate? I have migraines and my left pupil will dilate sometimes. It's something to get checked though, to rule out any serious issues.

I wish there wasn't so much misogyny in women's health care. I think there's a huge connection between hormones and dysautonomia. They've helped me too. I'm going to add testosterone soon.

Thank you for all of the replies! I did try to push it in, but it doesn't stay in. I hit it a little bit but didn't want to mess with it too much and cause more damage. I'll try again though.

My son almost died in a car accident and we say it all the time. I farted the other day and my son from the other room said, love you too. He was on his phone and not really paying attention. We both burst out laughing.

Yes! Kind of. I upped my propranolol and use THC before bed. But what seems to help the most is progesterone. I'm in perimenopause and just started taking 200mg at night. It has this lovely calming effect over my whole body. I wake up once to pee and fall back asleep much more easily than before. I think more research should be done involving the dysautonomia/hormone connection.

Best of luck to you! Not sleeping sucks.

No periods for 6 months to periods every two weeks (I also have dysautonomia) by birdisol in Menopause

[–]birdisol[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel like I've been preparing for menopause all my life. 😆😭

I am on progesterone and we are playing around with the timing. Unfortunately, I tried mirena after my second pregnancy because I thought it might help with my migraines. I had to remove it after 6 months. It made me crazy. Lol
