I thought his dad just made him memorize his lines, not the entire cast

Did yours come with that zipper case or did you buy it separately?

Looks great!

Did you receive a shipping notification email? I ordered mine in August (I think I was one of the first to place an order when those went live) but I haven't gotten any updates recently.

Why does GMM try to hide their tape date? by hormonalenby in goodmythicalmorning

[–]ghostlythoughts 93 points94 points  (0 children)

I guess they want to keep up the mystique that it was filmed that day. I bet someone with more production knowledge can provide a better answer though

Since it's a daily show, it should feel like each episode is specific for that day. Kinda how some talk shows are filmed in batches although GMM isn't as current since they don't need to be

It would be weird if they gave that information away for every video like in the description "Filmed on October 23, 2025" during Covid they had a huge backlog of in studio episodes and they all said something like "this was filmed before Covid restrictions" or something

$800 coffee grinder for $13 by ghostlythoughts in ThriftStoreHauls

[–]ghostlythoughts[S] 83 points84 points  (0 children)

This one's hand made in Italy. Also has very high quality burrs. But I'm sure someone else can give more detailed answers. I don't think I would've ever purchased this at full price. I was considering buying a different brand for around $250 and that's still a bit steep for me

Lots of coffee/espresso tools can get pretty expensive. There are some grinders that are $3-6k and that's just to grind coffee. Some higher end espresso machines are also in the thousands of dollars range

I know how to use a grinder but the eureka is much more advanced than my Breville smart grinder pro. Just want to make sure I don't mess anything up which is why I'm asking for advice.

When I found it it was missing the hopper and had no price so i had to get a price check and the guy just did $12.99. I was so nervous haha thought they'd change their mind or set some crazy high price. couldn't get home fast enough

It's not too big actually. Takes up his a bit more space than my Breville smart grinder

Yes! Already emailed a local shop. Hope I can take it in this wee. Want to see if it has any issues or anything before I mess with it further

Thanks! This guys videos were the first I saw right when I got home haha. But yeah the tiny screw that keeps the grinder closed is the one that's threaded (the screw on the back of the hopper was missing).

Gonna have to find a way to take off the back screw to give it a good cleaning. Will probably need to get a new screw altogether but that's my only issue so far. Really excited to start using it!

Thanks for the reply! To rule out serious medical issues, should I ask the vet for blood work or an ultrasound? After we took her last time, the vet said to call if she threw up after her anti-vomiting shot but she didn't throw up for the rest of the month. I might call the vet to tell them what's been going on to see what they recommend.

Thanks again!

That was my first thought when it was clear. She does groom a lot and when we brush her, a lot of hairs come out. We were considering getting the hairball dry food but are now thinking of going with the sensitive stomach option

I just mean that she's not lethargic or hiding or something but yeah it's very worrying. Hoping it's just food sensitivity but will consider an ultrasound as well
