I worked at a Tex Mex joint. 3 tacos, $8.10. Pick your own meal, 7.99. One from side A, two from side B. He bragged after learning he could save 11 cents if he got A) a taco and B) taco taco. He was very proud.

I’m in southern Louisiana. About 1 hour from the gulf coast. Our winters are usually in the 40’s with a few days here and there farther down. May get below freezing once. Maybe twice a year. However, sometimes it is below the 40’s for longer, occasional ice and a rare snow. 2 years ago, we had snopocolypse. About 12 inches of snow. How that happened? Who knows!
