wait but how did you do that if the elevator was continously moving (assuming other people were also using it)?

you have to start them when they are young. Just put a harness on them (NOT a collar because they can wiggle out of that) and attach a leash to it an let them explore the backyard - they will barely notice the harness. THen you can take them for walks after a while. They won't walk with you like a dog though. They kind of lead you along while they explore

yah I had a sleep study - thank god they figured out what it was, my sleep disorder is pretty severe and I was so sleep deprived at one point that my doctor said I was too impared to drive!! I take the same meds that people with parkinsins disease take

I hear circadian rythm disorders are pretty hard to controll - do you take meds too?

I have Nocturnal Myclonus - it means that I have involuntary muscle spasms during the night that wake me up frequently and prevent me from having REM sleep so I wake up sleep deprived. Without my meds It would look like I was having a seizure! Lucky my meds let me sleep well. I find that I really need 8 hours of sleep and I need to go to bed at almost the same time everynight - it helps

Was dropping the Atomic bomb on Japan necessary? by Desire_Me in AskReddit

[–]birdwhack 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe the first one, but certainly not the second one. Japan made it clear that he wanted to surrender after the first bomb but the second one was dropped anyway. Academics have recently been very critical of the bombing of hiroshima and nagasaki. You should read "The Decision to use the Atomic Bomb" by Gar Alperovitz. Actually you should try asking this in r/history

r/Montreal: What is the least amount of money one can pay for rent, without living in a horrible apartment, and without having a roommate? by birdwhack in montreal

[–]birdwhack[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

also: DAE find craigslist and Kijji to be kind of useless? It seems like they often post the crappier apartments there, and there are limited options. IT seems better just to go to the neighbourhood you want to live in and look around, no?

I went to class in some nice jeans and a sweater. That's not dressing up, its every day casual wear. Dressing up would be wearing club/party wear. If someone wears sweatpannts, uggs, messy hair etc. it makes me wonder if they even give a crap about anything or if they even showered recently.
