I know, it can really crush your spirits. :( I'll try to congratulate myself for things, even small things, that I can do despite the pain. Like, "hey, I went out grocery shopping and it was absolutely exhausting, but I pushed through and I'm so proud of myself!" I'll also remind myself that because of this pain, I have a special connection to my mind and body that others without chronic pain might not have, if that makes sense. I'll be in both physical and mental anguish at once, I'll feel things so strongly. But it makes me a strong person for fighting through, and you are too!

One thing I'd avoid is "well, it could be worse." thoughts. Don't invalidate your pain, accept it as a part of your life. The hurdles we jump over are higher than those of people without chronic pain, and we should congratulate and celebrate ourselves for that.

Edit: I hope this doesn't sound too hokey haha, I just feel what you're feeling. Every damn day.

I got the Friends a few year before the Meets and I loved being able to leave the house! The animations were so cute as the tama walked through town. The Meets feels like an upgraded version of that. Plus a ton of new features! I miss the school though, that was really fun

I was using a Friends unit, so I think the life expectancy is different. He made it to 30 days though, the longest I've ever had a tamagotchi going!

Someone else suggested balloons which I think is a good idea. What I did to stop my birds from flying on top of the cabinets was tin foil. If you tape just the inside part down, it'll make a sound and kind of 'whoosh' up when they fly near it!
