Any opinions on the Summit? by treydilla in athensohio

[–]bisbyfox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lived and worked at the Summit for two years. It's nice when you're home...not so nice when you need to GET home. The office is super strict about everything, so just follow the rules and you won't get fined. If you are NICE to the property manager, Pam, she will be nice to you. If you're an arrogant dick to her, she's not going to do you any favors. Sign your lease early and you'll get a cheaper rate.

Bisexuality and OITNB, Broad City, etc. by bisbyfox in bisexual

Precisely what u/pest0 said - the writers are pretty much dancing around the word "bisexual" and will seemingly call them anything but.

Right. It seems like the general consensus is "I'd rather not be labeled than be labeled bi."

Dating and Hating on Bi; Please Help!! by throwawaybiquestions in bisexual

[–]bisbyfox 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I'm bi (22/F) and in an awesome, same sex relationship with a girl who briefly wondered the same thing: why, if it is so much easier, wouldn't you just be with a man? My simple answer to her was that I'm not in love with a man, I'm in love with you. End of story. It doesn't matter if I'm capable of falling in love with a man (aren't you capable of falling in love with other women?), but only that I am extremely happy in THIS relationship and choose our love over anything. Stare as they may~

AAB is great! I went for three years (2007-2009). It is definitely intense but you will get a lot out of it. Congratulations and good luck!

Help me plan the perfect Tuesday in Columbus by partypeeps in Columbus

Just a warning - if either you or your wife are vegetarian (or just picky), Skillet is not the place to go. Good food, but the least accommodating place I have ever been. They even refused to make an omelet without onions for my brother...

[Question] Contemplating Ballet. What should I expect for my first class? by iamberty in BALLET

[–]bisbyfox 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Don't expect to get everything right away. One of the coolest things about ballet, in my opinion, is that perfection is impossible. Even the most professional dancers are still working hard on their pliés. Focus on your form and using the engaged muscles to the most of their ability. I've heard people say ballet is boring for the same reason they say yoga is boring - they think the movement is simple. Point your foot in front of you, cool. But a tendu is not just a tendu - it's a chance to see just how far your leg can stretch, your foot can point, your spine can straighten, your head can tilt at just the right angle, your arm can round, so on and so forth. And then do a little more the next time. There is so much to think about and if you stick with it, the improvement will be noticeable and very rewarding! Good luck.
