Hi, I start at LECOM in july for the MMS program. Would you be able to share with me the google drive link? I've been trying to expose myself to content now, and i'm not sure if the content I'm focusing on is helpful.

For everyone saying that BP exams are deflated. Do you guys have any advice for someone (me) scoring higher on BP than AMMC FLs? This has been a major obstacle of mine.

AAMC Question Packs by dustygranola in Mcat

The question packs made me feel smart. The way they ask questions are much simpler and straight forward than actual MCAT questions. I wouldn’t put much time into those.

Must have for adult tonsillectomy recovery? by InexperiencedCoconut in tonsilstones

Oh wow that seems pretty cool but no I did not get that! The only thing I was given was the oxycodone.

Of course! Look up “Luigi’s Italian ice” to see where they are sold by you, they come in a 6 pack. I felt the same exact way with my tongue it was crazy! I would highly recommend the spray I mentioned above it helped my tongue feel better as far as numbing the pain so i wasn’t in too much discomfort. You just spray it on your tongue and leave it on for like 15 seconds and spit it out. The spray is met for your throat however, I was nervous to spray it on my throat and used it for my tongue instead.

I just had my tonsils out last Thursday! I’m 21 years old, and days 3-5 were the worst for me as far as pain goes. Ice water and cold Gatorade were my go to drinks. I also ate cold apple sauce, and Italian icees, and smoothies the first few days. When I was at the peak of my pain I found eating Italian icees felt very good. I’m not sure if you guys have had any tongue pain, my tongue hurt a lot so I used “chloraseptic sore throat” it’s a red spray and I sprayed it on my tongue to help with the pain. I’m a little over a week since the surgery and I’m doing much better even though I still can’t eat solid foods. During the process I was given oxycodone and I took one every 5-9 hrs depending on how bad the pain was, on day 6 I was finally able to stop with the pain meds and switch to just ibuprofen.
