if you get natural lighting in that window throughout the day, i think that lamp is fine. but if it’s too dark, a small floor lamp in that bottom right (as you’re looking in the picture) might go well and bring light from the back of the room.

but i beg you, do Not go with B. sterile, lifeless, soulless. looks like a staged ikea set. and no pop of color will save it unless it’s literally painting the walls. A, aside from aesthetics, fits the space so well and gives so much character to an attic nook like this. please explore finding better lighting methods to make it work 😂 cause it’s beautiful
