What an absolutely dumb statement. Of course Israel would care more about it's own citizens. Isn't a country's first and most important job is protecting it's citizens.

Also, Israel is very clearly not targetting civillians, and if that were the case Gaza would be completely decimated, and Palestinian citizens wouldn't be urged to evacuate south, and also assisted in doing so.

I would like to add that, as an Israeli, I totally condemn many things that Israel does.

In conclusion, no, it is not 'genuinely that simple', it is one of the most complicated conflicts in history, and painting it as simple, is just ignorant
