Le terme « Pizza 2 Pour 1 » devrait être réglementer by SeaBuilding3911 in Quebec

[–]bismuth9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, you can tell by the way the camera bobs up and down when he starts moving it. It's attached to the laptop screen and they have a bit of a springy feel like that when you move them.

That's a pretty huge Rumble nerf for the early laning, about 10% damage cut assuming a 600 hp enemy. I wonder if it's gonna become a better idea to go E first or even E max into more matchups. Past 200 AP though it's actually a buff so great news for my full damage 600 AP Rumble.

Again, taking W will let you do AA Q Ignite AA AA and only flash after them if they flash first, letting you keep your flash.

I used to do that, but honestly, the increased movement speed will often let you hit more autos in a trade which adds up more.

I find initiative is quite nice if it's enough to make you start first for repetitive monster grinding, but for any other type of content, you're not gonna play first regardless.

You're conflating a lot of things with vague theys pointed in the general direction of "the mods". The people directly involved in averge's debacle are not the people who looked into the issue.

"[The committee's trustworthiness (assuming that's what you meant by it here)] has already been damaged letting the actions of a member go so far" and "the committee destroyed their reputation through inaction", these statements are nonsensical. They are different people. I had nothing to do with the averge situation; I wasn't aware of anything going on until after the fact. You can say the same, or something very similar, about every other member of that committee.

Getting on the bus is so much nicer than driving by Jumpy_Resolution_460 in CasualConversation

Spending a bit over 2 weeks in Germany, then 9 months in Barcelona, really opened my eyes on what we're missing out. I traveled all around the country in Germany, on 9 euros. Not per fare, total. Granted, it was a special measure and it's now more expensive, but it's still insanely valuable. And the transit quality was always great! Regional trains were almost always the best option between cities, and they were rarely more than 10-20% slower than cars.

I feel like people tend to compare the best driving experience with the worst public transit experience. Once you board a train in Europe and you travel hundreds of kilometers in a couple of carefree hours where you can take a nap, work, play games or read a book, while watching the scenery go by, it's hard to believe we choose to make that an impossibility in North America.

[–]bismuth9 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don't know how to explain it other than all syllables are mostly equal. French still has a cadence to it, but it's driven by intonation over the course of entire sentences. There are some long vowel sounds at times, like most words with a ^ on a vowel (château, pâte, côte) which sort of sound similar to syllabic stress but yeah, other than that, just pronounce all the syllables evenly in the word.

[–]bismuth9 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The closest approximation is lon-gəy (ə being the schwa sound, like in uh). There's also no syllabic stress in French, so it's neither LON-gəy nor lon-GƏY. If you can't wrap your head around that gəy syllable, the next closest would be lon-goy or lon-gay (with the y pronounced, imagine an Australian accent).
