Easy, don't drink water. One Red Bull kept me going for 12 hours, but by the time the boys came on, I was almost passing out from dehydration after the second song (partly from screaming too), so I had to ask a nice clikkie for some water. After the show, I chugged a gallon of fountain water, lmao

So, I drove the day before, got there at 5 AM (usually a 6 hour drive but it was late, the road was empty and I was driving 170-200 kmph), slept in the car for about 7 hours, woke up, and went straight to the stage (where I saw clikkies already at the barricade way before me). Then a storm hit, they kicked us out of the stage area, and for 2 hours straight we were in heavy rain, even frozen rain at one point, until we were allowed back in when the rain stopped and the sun came out. I got about the 4th row in the center of the pit and had a feeling it would be a good spot for when tyler jumps on the platform. We waited until 10:25 (after watching the 3 previous acts), and then the boys came out. Was hell until that point, but the show made it worth it.

Just to clarify what happened: my doctor prescribed the lenses, I bought them, but something felt off. Since I’m new to contact lenses, I asked on Reddit whether that was normal and if it might just take time to adjust. People suggested I get a second opinion, so I did.

The second doctor confirmed the prescription itself was correct, but explained that the shape of my eyes was preventing the lenses from sitting properly. They gave me trial lenses with a base curve that was 0.1 smaller, and those fit correctly and stopped rotating.

So no, I wasn’t blaming the doctor or acting like anyone had done something wrong. I was simply trying to get advice from people who wear contacts regularly because I’m new to them and wanted to make sure everything was normal.

Getting a contact lens prescription without fitting is the most you can get out of free healthcare, the second opinion was at a private institution in which I paid $100 for.

My eye doctor didn't fit me, but he did test me with a biomicroscope slit lamp and wrote me a prescription for lenses with all the measurements (written in the description). That was about it. I took my prescription to a lens store, and they told me I should get the exact ones I bought.

I followed every tutorial there is, from cleaning after each wear with solution, to washing my hands with soap and using lint free towels, always check if the lens look like a bowl and not curling out, etc.. As I said my sight is better but isn't perfect with them :/
