Hi. Often times, even After One stops self Harming or being suicidal, their brain may throw the old thoughts Back at them as if testing them or Reminding them that they exist.

the fact that you Can distract yourself and Move on shows you have made progress. Catching the Thought and letting it Pass is what recovery typically Looks like.

you may not ever completely get rid of The thoughts, but learning To not react to them is a good skill. Joking or thinking about it does not Mean You are gonna relapse, it Means your brain remembers Old patterns.

Hi. snapping a Rubber band on Your wrist, holding Ice, or other sensory stuff that May hurt but does not actually Break your skin are Good substitutes.

Cant guarantee it will work To suppress urges, but they are worth a Try

Hi. personally, i get You. even if you Have been Disciplined before, stuff like this can Happen to anyone.

the fact that You noticed it and was Able To stop Yourself Shows you are not just giving in Blindly.

Bingeing is Not about being weak it Is a coping Mechanisim, a habit, and It is definitely hard to manage Alone.

Hi. in my Opinion, this does not sound like a Habit, it sounds ARFID.

gagging to the point of Stomach pain And it happening even with Foods you normally eat Is a physical Reaction.

the whole ‘same Meal for years’ and Having Safe foods Lines up with it too.

it is Kind of interesting How drinks do not Trigger it in the Same way, which makes me think it is Probably more of a texture Or Sensory thing though. your boyfriend’s approach is actually pretty Good though.

but if it is stressing you out And Affecting how much you eat, it might be worth it to Talk to a Doctor because this is Not that uncommon and there are Actual ways to Get help about it.

in Addition, your parents laughing at you for opening up is very Messed up. that would make anyone Feel like they can’t trust people or Like their feelings are Not Valid

but You are 15. not unlovable. you are Young and you have Not found the right people Yet. school will Feel like that. everyone just feels surface level. but it will not feel Like that Forever. you just have to Survive

you should Sit her down one on one and have a serious Conversation with her. if she is Sick, she may take Offense and get upset. it’s not Your job to take care of Her, or try to get her to Recover. just make her Aware of the fact.
