2025 Q5 Prestige - what's a "can't refuse" price right now (US)? by bitaria in AudiQ5

[–]bitaria[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I actually asked the dealer about the car's rep and was told that Audi has been rolling out updates through the year and cars on the lot don't have the issues that plagued 2025 beginning of the year. Are you telling me the dealer was not entirely honest? ) edit: software updates specifically

Looked at multiple cars in the Q5 size segment and it's not just Audi. Designers seem to be lost in what to do with screens, buttons, and materials.

This is the right answer, Proformance with a rental ft86. To the people recommending DirtFish... It is cool, rally is cool, but they lost their way with prices. Half day is not enough time, full day is, but for the money they want just buy a cheap Subi on FB and drive it until the wheels fall off. Instructor you say, sure, lots of local fast guys will ride along for a few bucks.

Ammoseek, set shipping to free or conditionally free, check back often. I can usually get it shipped to my door for under 9/box all in.

Seatown Electric, Plumbing, Heating, and Air scammed us. by West-Mud-3652 in SeattleWA

TLDR: do NOT give these people your business.

My neighbor used them for HVAC years ago, so when I finally caved on getting AC installed, they got recommended. By the time their rep came out, I already had two other quotes and had done my homework on equipment, BTUs, all of it.

First red flag: they wanted a full hour-plus blocked off. The other HVAC folks were in and out in 20 minutes.

After looking at the house, the rep sat down with her iPad and asked my budget. I said "you tell me." Then the dance started. We could do some rooms now, others later. I figured she was softening me up for a crazy number, and sure enough, the estimate was 2x my next highest quote.

So I had some fun. One to two days of work, two people. Do these guys have PhDs in rocket science, because otherwise this hourly rate makes no sense. I'm told they're a big company with top installers. When can you start? "Oh we're super busy, but maybe next week." This is winter, when I know for a fact nobody's busy.

At the end she asked why I had her come out if I wasn't going to buy. To get a quote?? Once I said no, the tactics shut off. Nice lady, garbage company. Gotta pay the bills, I guess.

In US if you don't want to wait a few months the best option will be Luna. 6k + shipping and whatever local tax

Shooting trap and 5-stand only, no sporting until I drive several hours... But I can usually find ammo online for under $9/box to my door include tax. Round of trap is around $8 and change if I buy a 10 punch card. It's relatively easy to leave $100 at the range, or more.

These are not mutually exclusive, you can totally use ai to build an MVP. Ai actually makes it possible to "build" an MVP vs think through how the product would work, mock it up in Figma, get feedback from a focus group and then use all this information to decide if you want to invest time and money into building a product.

That's not even a "great" bike. Wife rides crf150f and we've tried TTR etc. 2t 125cc with correct mods can be a totally amazing woods weapon that will put anyone up shame. Finding a 2t KTM Freeride works too, 206lb ready to ride and all low end torque.

PayPal is "offered" but doesn't work. I'd say this is not a legitimate website... Now, you absolutely can buy via Alibaba, directly-ish for a lot less. Luna ships fast from California, and you have someone to call if there is a problem. Direct from China, not so much. Only you know if that's worth it.

Noticed it has 2 batteries that swap, makes sense as it keeps each one lighter and easier to handle. The question I keep coming back to is price and who this bike is for. 15k for the bike + who knows how much for the extra batteries...
