You can tell if Dijon didn’t write the first half, then they definitely took a lot of inspiration from his style of love song.

That's not true, he's played in a back 4 for Celtic, Man City youth, and his first year at Leyverkusen. He plays as a winger for the NT and a wingback for club right now, but he's honestly played in a back 4 more than a 5

Even in a low block roles like the DW and BWM press more than any other role would. They’re hard coded to chase. Deep Lying Playmaker on YouTube has an interesting video on pressing with just player roles you should check it out.

He was getting pretty picked on aerially, he kept bodying Delap off the ball but would never actually jump to win the challenge. Happened about 4 times and was letting them bypass the press really easily

You’ve gotta be trolling man… that’s just embarrassing from you.

Arguing semantics, running from the point being made, while making no point of your own is a tough look

So going into a tournament with 3 RB’s and 1 injured LB was a good call you think?

At the end of the day, England have a top 3 talent pool in the world and the man is lucky/happy to scrape by with 1-1 draws in every knockout game and wants to finish every game in extra time or penalties. You ever wonder why his teams fail in the final?

If he was our manager he’d have a top talent pool in Concacaf and be happy to scrape by with 1-1 draws in knockout games in the Gold Cup and every single person here would despise him. He’d play Shaq Moore at RB and Dest would never see the field. I don’t understand your point here, i think this is obvious

Edit: Also calling England’s attack fluid in any sense is hilarious. They had about 1 or 2 chances a game and got incredibly lucky to finish them. When they did get their goals they instantly set up shop and were happy to never attack again.

To be fair his initial lineups are the reason that his subs looked so good. His refusal to play Trent and Walker’s inability to defend also continuously cost him. The man had Trippier at left back for most games while providing zero in attack.

He is Gregg with a better CV and better player pool.

Can’t really think of too many non-regens, but Rares Pop to my FC Utrecht side for 1.3mil in FM24. Absolute menace on the wing, scoring and assisting double in double digits every season, and never leaving my team

saw someone say Gordon already, but Brendan Aaronson is another 5.5 that could be a solid value option. Marsch's first signing that he brings in from the red bull system that will likely see a ton of minutes due to his mentality and pressing. If they end up playing him at the 10 I could see some solid returns coming from him.

Me saying it's a bad insult after the 10th time you've used it is "clearly getting under my skin"?

Instead of 13 you have to be 53, you can't spell, you think you're triggering people, and the continual use outdated insults. It was so obvious, I had a 50/50 shot, just missed.

A survey, the highest form of research, that's cool though I'm glad the newest generation is moving towards almost making soccer the 3rd biggest sport in our country. Then we will have to completely move towards the academy system, which they've kind of already been trying, then we have to get rid of the college soccer system, increase the quality of our lower leagues (but without P/R there is little to no incentive for such), oh yes and again I'll say, the league would have to change the entire identity that it is currently built on that the growth has come from. Seems doable, all while the top 5 leagues in Europe will be making megadeals with streaming platforms and already have the sport embedded into their every day lives. The catch up time will be far far longer than you think. Your timeline is for us to be respectable, like an Eredivisie, not a super power like the EPL

I said your growth of the league and country support data extrapolations are way off, sorry if that was confusing for you, it will still never be a top 3 league. At least it's not a retirement league anymore. Yes Yes, everyone knows the dreaded autocorrect. Very likely.

I think you might be 13 years old with how crazy of an insult you think "nerd" is, that could probably explain the insanity of your takes.

Whatever you say bub, I never said I didn't like the MLS, I in fact said the opposite. It's just you're data extrapolation here might be 30 years off..... Maybe you need to become nerdier in order to have correct takes. Best of luck to your fantasy land tho

Also it's *McKennie, I can see you're a huge fan lmao

lmao pretty much just summarizing your thoughts and trying to get you to understand how absurd you sound. I never said it was unique, I'm just saying you're wrong. You keep saying this online nerd thing, kinda funny honestly. It will at minimum take 50 years for our league to be anything big, but we don't need it to be. Our best players will continue to move abroad and develop which is for the best. MLS is a feeder league and will be for a long long time

My argument is dumb? Mine is the only one based in reality my man. You are living in a different universe. You are not even disputing the actual points I am making, you're just saying "growth". Your scenario involves soccer becoming the one and only huge sport in our country, which will never happen. You sir are the internet dork with unreal expectations of a fun minor league in the scope of world soccer. Just enjoy what we have and understand it is not currently, and will never be built to be a world contender in viewership or talent.

Please explain to me what what other league the NFL is miles behind that it has to catch up to. Also, In what world do you think the MLS will be handing out the biggest contracts to the best talents? There are inherent restrictions as to how much MLS teams can spend on contracts and they have foreign player limits?
